Overview:

Drawing to music can wake up our emotions. Here, we allow sound to guide our emotional expression through movement, form, and color.

Materials:

• 3 pieces of Bristol paper
• 
Oil pastels

Transcript


Process:

• Choose three songs to play. Let them help create and support your movement on the paper.
• 
Allow the music to initiate new forms and connect you to your body through the rhythm.
• 
Gently dance the art into existence.

Sketchbook Reflection:

• Jot down how it felt to dance and draw. What song gave you your favorite result?
