Trip the Light Fantastic
16 x 20" | Visual Taoism Collection | paints on stretched canvas
This painting is all about rhythm, and I came upon the phrase “trip the light fantastic,” (from the late 1800s), and fell in love. So perfect!
The phrase is typically attributed to Milton’s 1645 poem L’Allegro, which includes the lines:
Com, and trip it as ye go,
On the light fantastick toe.
